A picture update after my visit to California. As you can see, not much of a tan! Even though it was quite hot this winter. (I don't want a tan by the way). I can't say that my diet was perfect while I was away in LA visiting my girlfriend. Maybe 70-80% of what I ate was very healthy and the rest not so healthy, but not bad either! Just not what I would normally eat. I had some cookies here and there and stuff but these were oatmeal. I knew it wouldn't continue when I got back home. I just relaxed so much for the first time in many years doing CR. I never counted calories at all either, and I gained ZERO weight. I came back home the exact same weight even though I ate junk food most days in addition to my normal healthy diet.

Anti-tanning? Or you just don't like 'em?
I think tans/some sun exposure can be beneficial. And not just for the obvious Vit D stuff.
I don't really tan well and/or burn if I try. So it's a bit pointless trying to because I will end up damaging my skin in the process. I can get a light tan but what's the point when UV rays are damaging. Tanning is damaging, no? Yeah sun exposure makes me feel energised, happy and well, though. I do get some... plenty in LA. :) As I experienced when in LA for 7 weeks I felt much better when I take regular walks out in the sun. Not sure why a tan would be a beneficial, but sunlight exposure might be and for more reasons that vitamin D, sure. :)
Hi Matt,
With great interest I have been reading your blog during the last years and it gave me a lot of inspiration. I'm a 47 year Belgian Cronie (since 2008) and a friend of Sven Bulterijs. I'm glad your back and I hope you continue to post on your blog. I will start one myself soon.

Looking great at 27 Matt, congrats!
Staying out of the sun is important, it is one of the worse things for aging!
New to your blog and will say you are already ahead of the curve. I'm 34 and pass for my mid twenties depending on hair length, but wish I would have started at your age.
Keep it up! Keep it up! Twenty years from now you will be glad you did.

How about botox treatment as last resort for anti-ageing? Lots of people are using it, I guess it's really effective.
Do you want to my blog back?
Very interesting topics here in your site mate. Can't wait to read more of your blogs. Just keep it coming.
