Looking for a band

Yup, finally, I think its time that I started to find a band, I just hope stem cells or something will cure me of a slight deafness in old age lol. For those that new heard my old band before I'll put up the more profesionally recorded songs soon. But for now here are is one song that I still haven't finished yet, only done the music.

Another one - Bad is decayed

recorded in my bedroom, using all the recording equipment I bought, but this was my first attempt so was more learning that anything... sounds quite good though. A few things weren't done properly and some vocals needed sorting but the band split by this point and this is what was left.

I still have all the data files for some tweaking and to replace some of the guitar riff thats I think sound awful, or out don't go well. Maybe if we get back together at a future date we can make this song better because I think its got some potential. It sounded awesome live though, with the drums and everything (much much better!)

Unfinished song (no vocals)

This song I made myself after the band split, I never got around to finishing it off because 1) no singer and 2) had no time because of college and work.

I'd love to record something else when I get the time, an extra 3-4 years of playing guitar I have gotten so much better! -- maybe in the near future!

Right now though I'll be looking out to join or build a band soon.

Lucky

It seems that my 19yr 2m old dog lucky is starting to get real bad now. This is a picture of him at around 17-18 years of age. Just the other day he started collapsing because all 4 legs are weak. The flooring we have down doesn't make it easier, and he walks much better on surfaces that are not so slippery... but hes clearly having trouble. I think the vets have done all they can for him now and it probably wont be long before he has to be put down. I knew this time would come real soon, so its not really unexpected, but still sad.

Hes lucky to have lived to 19 though, as he was diagnosed with heart disease at 15y 9m. From then on we only fed him in the mornings and gave him less food. Many dogs even his size don't reach that age.

There might be one thing they can do for him and that is give him steroids, but I that could affect other problems like cataracts. We'll see what the vet says later
today.

Okinawa and Costa Rica

Here you can view all the okinawa expedition videos, aswell as the current expedition in Costa Rica. You will be amazed by some of the videos. Like one of them when the Okinawa 85 year old is doing yoga, and a headstand! Amazing balance and strength for his age. Also there are some other cool stories. You can see all the videos by clicking on the calendar date under either costa rica or okinawa.

Everyone sick Today there were only 3 of us in class! It seems that everyone has caught this flu that is going around, including my teachers... I really do hope that I don't catch these things too often from now on. I got to keep my hands away from my mouth and eyes (habbit), and wash them a few times at college. This should help a bit... I think.

Curiosity

What is it that makes CRers and other life extension supporters different in their determination and ability to do CR. After watching the long documentary on Aubrey De Grey and his SENS project, it was obvious that the people who support this have a curiosity about them, they are optimistic people as Christopher sykes said. Some people only tend to see the bad things and ignore the good things in life. How sad! Some people say how i'm wasting my time with all this nutrition and CR stuff, but i'm in a constant fight against aging, and there is only one shot at getting this right. If I fail then at least I tried to make it. Everyone has a goal in life right? My goal is to explore the universe, yes far out, but impossible? I don't think so. So I can do long term CR because my reasons for doing it isn't for weight loss or something stupid, it's about life and death, seeing the future or not.

April and Michael were in the Channel 4 documentary by the way... only around 2-3 minutes, but pretty cool. This was obviously broadcasted into millions of peoples homes on the saturday. So lots of people learned about CR, Aubrey De Grey, Cryonics and other things. When they showed the monkeys at the primate centre it was amazing the difference between the CR monkey and Ad lib monkey, the CR'd one looked very young for his age, no wrinkles. Then you looked at the monkey on ad lib and you could see all the skin creases above his eyes, he just looked very old in comparison (yet only 1 year older).

The documentary really left me more sympathetic to aubreys goals, he's obviously working extremely hard to get this Mprize and SENS recognised, it would be great if there were more in the field that would help rather than criticize. He must get so tired travelling all over the place!

Very well done documentary anyway... I recorded it on DVD and I think running time 76 minutes

I've moved to CR Vitality

I restored this blogspot for history. :) The new blog that I have been running for many years now is CRVITALITY https://crvitality.com/
