The people in the first video seems to have made the very common mistake of assuming that calorie restriction is simply about calories and not micronutrients. To quote the interviewer: "If you look at the average lifespan of people in countries where food is plentiful, and compare that to the average lifespan of people in countries where food is scarce, the people in the countries where the food is plentiful live longer." Almost nothing about ensuring proper micronutrient intake at all! Not to mention that, in countries "where food is scarce", there are a number of other factors shortening people's lifespan, like inadequate healthcare and medicine, for instance.
The second video was better - not as derogative. Still nothing about micronutrients, though. And they seemed to have missed the fact that most of the increase in average lifespan over the past century is more due to improved medicine and healthcare than lifestyle.
The last one seemed to be mostly a resveratrol ad.
